Software & Computer Engineering · Eastern Mediterranean University

Demos prove what's possible. Systems prove what holds. I build the second — retrieval, evaluation, deployment that ships.

01/Profile

Building software systems, growing into applied AI.

My interest in computers started early — with games and tech — and gradually turned into a fascination with how applications actually work under the hood.

At 14 I joined a Cybersecurity Bootcamp and got my first hands-on exposure to engineering from people doing it for a living. I finished high school at Near East College on the A Level track — Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, and ICT — then started a Double Major in Software Engineering and Computer Engineering at Eastern Mediterranean University, where I'm now a Junior.

Freshman year laid the engineering foundation across software design, systems, and databases. Sophomore year stretched the perspective through collaborative engineering work: product thinking, team communication, and applying technology to real problems.

Today my focus is bridging software engineering with Artificial Intelligence. Python, Machine Learning, Neural Networks — pushed forward by competitive work. I built a RAG-based kiosk assistant at AI Future Minds'25, and led my team to the finalist stage of Turkcell Yarının Teknoloji Liderleri 2026 with “Akıllı Şehir Sağlık Haritası”.

I'm committed to a career in AI and technologies that create meaningful real-world impact.

02/Skills

What I build with, and what I'm building toward.

The toolkit is concentrated on AI / ML right now — but grounded in solid engineering fundamentals.

AI / ML

The core direction — bridging engineering and intelligent systems.

  • Machine Learning
  • Neural Networks
  • RAG
  • LLMs
  • Model Integration

ML & Data Stack

Libraries and tooling — what I reach for when building with models and data.

  • Hugging Face
  • scikit-learn
  • pandas
  • NumPy

Languages

Comfortable across paradigms — typed, low-level, and web.

  • Python
  • TypeScript
  • JavaScript
  • C++
  • SQL

Web & Software

Modern interfaces, APIs, and the systems behind them.

  • React
  • Next.js
  • Node.js
  • REST APIs
  • Tailwind CSS
  • API Integration

Engineering

Practical engineering — the work of designing, planning, and shipping real systems.

  • Project Management
  • System Design
  • Technical Planning
  • Software Architecture
  • Database Management
  • Git & GitHub

03/Focus

Four disciplines, one trajectory.

The areas I'm investing in — converging on a career building AI products that ship and matter.

01

AI & Machine Learning

Building intelligent systems with Python, neural networks, RAG, and LLM workflows — focused on practical products, not demos.

02

Software Engineering

Designing and shipping reliable software across interfaces, APIs, databases, and system architecture — product-minded engineering from idea to deploy.

03

Product Building

Building focused prototypes from real problem spaces — balancing product clarity, technical tradeoffs, and team execution.

04

Cybersecurity Foundation

A security-first foundation shaped by early cybersecurity training — focused on trust, resilience, and systems that fail safely.

04/Work

Selected work, projects and achievements.

A focused view of the work, role, outcome, and technical direction.

Akıllı Şehir Sağlık Haritası

A smart-city health intelligence platform built and recognized at the finalist stage.

Led my team to the finalist stage of Turkcell Yarının Teknoloji Liderleri 2026 with a platform that connects regional health risk data, AI-driven advisory, and scenario simulation into one actionable city layer.

Engineering highlights

  • Built a city-scale health risk decision platform deployable across any region, going beyond a standalone map.
  • Connected regional risk scoring, scenario simulation, and AI advisory into a single platform.
  • Captained the team from ideation through the finalist presentation, holding scope and narrative steady.
  • Python
  • AI/ML
  • Data
  • Web
Open field note

Turned a civic technology idea into a coherent product story under competition pressure.

  • The strongest design move was treating the map as an intelligence surface: not just where something is, but what a person or operator should understand next.
  • The finalist process pushed the work beyond implementation ideas into product clarity, stakeholder language, and presentation discipline.
  • The project became a forcing function for leadership: keeping the team aligned, narrowing the scope, and making the story legible fast.

Construction AI Kiosk

A RAG-powered assistant prototype for construction-domain questions.

Led the team as captain and built a Retrieval-Augmented Generation kiosk assistant for the AI Future Minds'25 Construction AI track, using Hugging Face models to process construction-domain material and answer with grounded context.

Engineering highlights

  • Led the team as captain while keeping the prototype scope focused under hackathon pressure.
  • Designed the assistant around retrieval and grounded responses instead of a generic chatbot flow.
  • Used Hugging Face tooling to connect model behavior with construction-specific source material.
  • Python
